| Panasonic is pleased to present the new model from its slim and stylish Lumix FX series, the Lumix DMC-FX500. Recognised as being one of the best cameras on today's market, the Lumix DMC-FX500 is equipped with a 25 mm wide-angle lens, meaning it captures twice as many images as a traditional 35 mm lens, and a user-friendly touch screen, which allows you to share all your shots with others around you. The Panasonic DMC-FX500 also includes a 10-megapixel CCD sensor that works with the 2-mode Mega optical image stabiliser to reduce the effects of hand shake and prevent motion blur, and an Intelligent Auto mode and Venus Engine IV image processor that automatically adjust the camera?s settings, selecting those which are most appropriate. Its touch screen makes it easy to take great pictures and play them back afterwards, and zoom and focus can be set by simply touching the icons on the screen. The Lumix DMC-FX500 can even take photos in incredible resolutions of 3648 x 2736 pixels and record HD video in 1280 x 720 pixels at a smooth 30 frames per second.
